MSCCSD is a for profit company with a central CSR policy to give back. The masks we supply are not considered medical grade masks under the PPE directive (EU) 2016/425 or Medical Devices directive (EU) 93/42/EEC or any other related directive or NB . The sole purposes of the masks: 1. re-launch the economy, 2. take into consideration social distancing rules and 3. offer minimum protection while employed in a field that can not accommodate "work-from-home" solutions. Regardless of any assumption out there, droplet transmissions from an infected individual will be reduced and a cotton face mask will therefore be a better solution than no protection at all. Everyone having some degree of protection over their mouth will significantly flatten the curve and help prevent future outbreaks among the population. Basic masks should be made obligatory for civilian use. We urge everyone in possession of medical equipment or PPE to contact your local authorities as soon as possible.
